2 Pebble design bracelets

These were created on the August weekend. One bracelet is made of chain and the other is a solid cuff. All utilise the same pebble shaped unit, seen at bottom of post. All units were made individually and then flattened and soldered or linked together.

Recent work from the 6 week courses

3 Rings from Friday Evening Class

These rings were completed last night. Andrew made his in Silver and copper. Vicky made a textured silver ring and an interlocking pair of silver rings held with 2 gold small rings. Really lovely pieces from our Friday class!

Contemporary Stone Setting

May Weekend at Cross Street

A sneeky look at some of the pieces made this weekend! May 17th and 18th was a weekend of much activity in the workshop. Rings, cufflinks, earrings, bangles, bracelets and pendants were hammered, soldered and polished. A great weekend of work and fun and of course tea and biccies!

Silver Bowls by Paul M

These beautiful bowls were made by Paul by sinking and working in sand bag with bossing mallet and a wooden former. They both started life as identical sized discs of silver. Keep watching as they will finally have feet added.

South Coast ACJ

Not exactly a Cross Street post but as I'm chair of the Association of Contemporary Jewellery South Coast Region I thought I'd show some photos from our first event.

Otto from Otomat came to show us his photography box system. It helps you take professional shots with your camera in his specially designed box.

March 8th & 9th Weekend Workshop

This weekend was really great despite the grim weather outdoors. We had a weekend of rings, earrings and pendants and a couple of stone settings thrown in too!
